How do your services work?
Chicago Liquidators is an online liquidation service that uses multiple online channels for selling your new and like new merchandise. We will either make a cash offer to buy your items or we consign to your items making sure they are properly listed so that you receive the best value from all of the online market places. The best part for you is our turn key auction service that includes pickup, researching, photography, listing, packaging, shipping, customer service, payment processing, with usually no upfront fees. If necessary, we will arrange the moving of your inventory to our warehouse location where your goods will be secure until sold.
We also have the capability to run your entire online business for you and save you money at the same time. You would have your own website and identity, while we store, list, and ship out your products daily.
What types of items are you interested in?
Because we sell online, we are generally interested in anything. We usually deal with items that are worth at least $50, but if you have a large quantity of the same item or the items are similar, the items per unit value can be of any dollar amount. In general, we look for merchandise with a total resale value of at least $5,000.
If I have a couple of personal items that I would like to sell, can I drop them off?
We are not yet set up to be a drop off store, and unfortunately there is only so much we can take on at one time. We recommend trying sites like Craigslist.org if you are looking to sell a few personal items; however, if you have a collection of goods or an estate worth at least $5,000, please let us know. How long have you been in business and who are your clients?
We have been in business for 5 years and we perform liquidation services for banks, small & large corporations, bankruptcy trustees, and private estates. Due to confidentiality reasons, we're unable to list our current clients by name. Many companies utilize our services to maximize the value of their discontinued, out of season and overstocked inventory, rather than taking the tradition liquidation approach of receiving “pennies on the dollar”.
